Our Traditions

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love having a family and having traditions for you boys to have and carry with you into your own family one day.

We always ,always go light hunting we drive around listening to Christmas music and look for houses with the best lights.

Every Christmas Eve its one I have done since I was a little girl myself. We have pizza for dinner, watch Polor Express or The Christmas story and end the night with opening 2 presents.

We usually cant get you to go to sleep for what seems like forever.

Even then at Thanksgiving time our tradition is getting out the tree, putting it together and together listening to Christmas music or something Christmasy.

Our Thanksgiving in my opinion are the best, I love the smells of the kitchen, from the turkey to making monkey bread for you kids in the morning for breakfast. Through out the day the house is warm and toasty and has a comfortble feeling that only God can bring us.Early Thanks giving morning mama wakes up starts the turkey, and puts on the parade for you kids, getting you to watch the parade and not fight is a different story, but still i wouldnt trade it for anything.

These memories son's are the ones I want you to carry with you until your own family comes along.

Keep your hearts open and you minds clear, we have alot of family traditions to unfold.

The Best Mothers Day Present

This picture is worth a thousand words. I love this, this was my Mother's Day present in 2011. Yor aunt B took these pictures. LOL ...I can't help but laugh a bit when I see the smile on my little Gabriels face. And Aidan over there showing how grown up he is. I am so proud of the both of you and I can't wait to see what you will become.
Seriously Gabriel I hope you never loose that smile and pose like attitiude. And Aida never let your heart shrink into anything,if possible let it your heart grow in GOD. be the strong back that will one day carry a household of your own.

But for right here, and right now, I LVOE YOU BOYS SO VERY MUCH, that is ONE thing that will never change.

Your night Morning

This here boy's is what you both call "a Night Morning" Aidan you came u with this i have no idea how. You both wait until we all go to bed and stay up watching t.v. and from what I hear an occassional snack here and there...... Aidan it figures you would be the creative mind behind something like this, you carry the creative badgge well my son.

This to me is the funny part, the older brother get the small couch, hanging half on and half off, because you are to long... and then......

gabriel the little brother gets the bigger couch how do yu figure? Gabriel is the smart one that knows how to play his cards right huh? This happens nearly all the time, which for me is the funny part.

I'm guessing you wished it wasn't so Hot!!!

Its going to be 106 degress today the both of you try to hit the backyard early to play abit and by the look on Aidans face, that isnt going to last very long. i'm feeling today that its going to be a homemade icecream kind of day with a contant fight of how many Star wars I will let you watch Aidan,either way I am blessed in my little nest and happy that we are a family.

September 2010 Family Vacation

This trip here was our 4th trip to disneyland and pretty much our yearly vacation. We all lok forward to this time of year. When we ride Pirates of the Carribean about a gazillion times and Aidanyou cant wait to see Star Wars and Gabriel you nearly scream to see Mater and McQueen. Aye, gabriel there is you all time "famous" smile and yes i was the kind of Mother that dressed you alike, and I oretty much always will do that. Sorry kids, its just my thing let it go!!

This trip was the first and last time i am sure that you chachy went with us. My word your mama was almost as big as the pumpkin.....get a good laugh here if you need one. hahaha!!! I remember that today gabriel you were having a fit because I think I made you stay in your stroller. But that my dear pabby was the last time because from this year on 2011 you will walk until your heart is contect.

I remember this picture as well it was in the morning and Disneyland hadn't even opened yet so we played our cards at going to Downtown Disney. Look at those cute kids....posing all cuteness and nothing else.

It was custom for us to try and get pictures of you kids with the letters in your name, there used to be HUGE CALIFORNIA letters ( which are now gone) and since poor Gabriel lucked out, I told him to be in the picture with you anyway,,,since he DOES have an "A" in his name.

I love, love, love, this ride, its like..yes we are finally here for me when we ride the Monsters Inc. Mama can never resisted taking a picture of the two of you next to Boo's door, it justed wouldnt be right not too.





So as this vacation came to an end we are starting another one this September 2011 once again, the suprises we have and the memories we will make get excited at the thought. i promise to give you both the best of a life that Mama and Daddy can give you, I promise to make and give you memories and traditions that will carry with you all the days of your lives.

So as I end this post and start a new one...I love you boys....

Let's rewind..shall we? The last day of school 2011

Look at how adorable you are Gabriel, that cheesy smile and the gorgous hair. This is your last day of (pre) kindergarten you are 6 here and you just got done performing and as usual you deliver nothing but cuteness. At this point in age you want to marry Hannah Dale and you have a small addiction to playing with your cousin Ninas dolls and would rather prefer them over your own toys, lets hoe its a faze. The song that you sung thi day was I am going to "shake, shake, my wiggles away" A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. This is your drawing of a Happy face. I see you so full of life, giggles, mischief, and thrill. You are so independant, smart, funny and carasmatic. You are the light when my tired world is dark, you have been a strong person since the day I laid eyes on you and you were so teeny tiny, but I say strength in your eyes and I knew kid, you would always keep me on my toes.

Here are the three little Rascles on their last day, you guys are all smiles and me behind the camera all tears you three have grown up to fast and smart, and just plain wonderful. Aidan and Nina you are both 8 year and have hppily rolled over into the next phase of becoming 3rd graders. Aye, Gabriel look at you, how do you manage to get into so much trouble and then 5 minutes later melt our hearts, well most of us anyway, i am sure your Aunt B would have a different opinion. :)

Here is my calm, cool, collective Aidan. Just about to go onstage and look at you.... you get that from your mother.. LOL yeah right!!! Aidan you at this age amaze me. You are so giving, caring, and open hearted, you make friends in a snap (also from your mama) LOL... and you amaze me with your creative imagination. You laugh and smile brighten my dark days and you are the who will hold my heart until you take a wife. I see you as a man of God and growing to become so much more.

So with that being said, I will stop here, and make a different post, but continue to capture the moments that I never want to forget.

Today Aidan and Gabriel it's just a typical Wednesday, its Hot outside, its almost summer and we all can't wait until our trip in September. I am sitting here on the coush doing this and Aidan yo are as silly as can be playing your Star Wars, Gabriel you are just terribly adorable.

I am so blessed to have you both in my life. Since the first day I laid my eyes on the both of you when you were each born I told my self I will be the best Mom I know how to be... true at times I feel like a failure I know I can be better.

I started this for you boys so that later in life when you are all grown and married with families of your own you can read this to them and they can know what you used to be like at your young fun ages. I promIse to capture all that I can and to make this book for the both of you to carry with you......

By the way Gabriel you just got done letting me know you are bored....Thanks!! I am sure that it won't be the last that I hear of that through out the day....
